Drop Cable – GJXFH Non-metallic Strength Member
GJXFH non-metallic strength member butterfly drop cable is primarily used for the subscriber drop segment of FTTH networks, and also for FTTO, FTTB, and similar fiber access drop routes. The fiber is centered in the cable with two parallel FRP non-metallic strength members on both sides, and a white or black LSZH flame-retardant sheath extruded over the outside. The butterfly flat profile with a center groove design facilitates stripping, splicing, and indoor cabling.
Product Features
Supports bend-insensitive fiber: B6-series microbend-resistant fiber suits FTTH in-home cabling with frequent bends and limited space.
Simple structure and light weight: 2.0mm × 3.0mm butterfly profile—small size and light weight for easy ducting and indoor routing.
Easy to strip and install: center groove design simplifies sheath stripping, fiber splicing, and field maintenance.
Good mechanical performance: two parallel FRP strength members improve tensile and crush resistance and reduce mechanical damage risk during installation.
LSZH flame-retardant sheath: outer sheath uses low-smoke zero-halogen flame-retardant material for fire safety and environmental compliance
