Drop Cable – GJYXFCH Self-Supporting Non-Metallic Strength Member
GJYXFCH self-supporting non-metallic reinforced butterfly drop cable is mainly intended for subscriber drop segments in FTTH networks, and is also suitable for subscriber drops in FTTO, FTTB, and other fiber access networks. The optical fiber is placed at the cable center with two parallel FRP non-metallic strength members on both sides, extruded with a white or black LSZH flame-retardant jacket. An independent steel messenger wire serves as an additional self-supporting strength member, improving tensile performance for self-supporting drop installation.
Product Features
FRP non-metallic strength structure: Two parallel FRP strength members on both sides of the fiber provide strong crush resistance and protect the optical fiber.
Self-supporting steel messenger: A single steel messenger improves tensile strength for self-supporting FTTH subscriber drop runs.
Bend-insensitive fiber support: Compatible with B6-series bend-insensitive fiber for indoor drops with bends, corners, and tight spaces.
Compact and lightweight: The butterfly profile is compact and easy to route, pull through conduit, and install at the subscriber end.
Grooved easy-strip design: The center groove simplifies jacket stripping and fiber splicing for faster installation and maintenance.
LSZH flame-retardant jacket: Low-smoke zero-halogen jacket supports indoor cabling safety and environmental requirements.
