The 2.2MWh system uses a modular configuration with high-capacity battery racks built from 3.2V 314Ah LiFePO₄ cells, integrated into multiple air-cooled battery cabinets or 40-ft containers. It includes EMS, PCS interface, BMS hierarchy, fire protection, and HVAC-assisted airflow design.
With properly designed airflow channels, redundant fan systems, and temperature monitoring, air cooling can safely and effectively support 2.2MWh systems, especially in moderate climate regions or facilities with HVAC environments. For high-power cycling or hot regions, enhanced airflow or hybrid cooling may be considered.
This system is ideal for solar or wind energy smoothing, peak shaving, frequency regulation, microgrid stabilization, and backup power in large factories, industrial parks, or energy service company (ESCO) projects. It can also support EV fleet charging stations with high load variability.
The system incorporates multi-tier BMS protection, fire detection/suppression (e.g., aerosol or heptafluoropropane systems), real-time fan and temperature sensor monitoring, airflow fault alarms, and cell-level thermal runaway isolation zones to ensure long-term safety and reliability.
