Project Overview
This project deploys a 10kW/15kWh integrated residential energy storage system in Jamaica. Through intelligent power management, it provides domestic users with an autonomous, reliable and sustainable energy solution. The system not only supports electricity cost savings but also delivers critical emergency backup power during grid instability.

2.1 Application Scenario

Self-Generation and Self-Consumption with Surplus Grid Feed-in: Maximises utilisation of photovoltaic power, with excess electricity optionally fed back into the grid.

Automatic Grid/Off-Grid Switching: Enables seamless transition between grid-connected and off-grid modes, ensuring uninterrupted power supply.

Emergency Standby Power: Automatically activates off-grid power protection during outages.

Time-of-Use Electricity Management: Optimises electricity costs through peak shaving and valley filling.

2.2 Configuration Specifications

Inverter Rated Power: 10kW (maximum power up to 11kW).

Energy Storage Battery Capacity: 15.36kWh 51.2V/300Ah.

Maximum PV Input: 6400W.

2.3 Key Equipment

Inverter (US-standard split-phase): Supports 110V/230V output, incorporates built-in MPPT controller (maximum charging current 120A), equipped with LCD display and RS485 communication interface.

Lithium Battery Module: Utilises stacked lithium iron phosphate batteries, with charge/discharge rate of 0.5C and cycle life ≥3000 cycles.

Smart Monitoring Terminal: Equipped with WiFi module, enabling real-time viewing of inverter and battery operational data and alarm notifications via mobile application.

Installation Method: Floor-standing installation with IP20 or higher protection rating.
