Africa Mauritania Site Energy Project

Project Introduction
This project is located in Mauritania, Africa, and provides an integrated power energy solution for local communication base stations. The project consists of 7 sets of equipment. Since the region does not have grid support, the project adopts an off-grid system, combining photovoltaic, energy storage, and diesel generators (photovoltaic-storage-charging-diesel integration) to supply energy, ensuring stable operation of the base station in the absence of a power grid.

Application

This project is designed for communication base stations in Mauritania, addressing the power supply issues of these stations. In off-grid environments, it provides a flexible and reliable energy solution by integrating a photovoltaic system, energy storage batteries, and a diesel generator.

Main Equipment

Cabinet: Outdoor cabinet with dimensions of 2000mm height, 1500mm width, and 800mm depth, made of galvanized steel.

Temperature Control Equipment: Includes 4 fans (DC 48V) and an intelligent temperature controller.

Battery System: Lithium iron phosphate battery, 48V/155200AH, with a long charge-discharge cycle life.

FSU Monitoring Unit: EMS-B2010, used for energy management and monitoring.

Hybrid Power System: Includes power insertion frame, photovoltaic modules, rectifier modules, and photovoltaic distribution frame, supporting switching between different power sources.

Photovoltaic System: Includes 6 photovoltaic modules and mounting brackets, designed for high efficiency.

Diesel Generator: 16KW/20KVA outdoor silent smart diesel generator, equipped with an intelligent control system.

The Satellite Communication Energy Cabinet is a PV energy storage cabinet from Highjoule Technology Group designed specifically for off-grid satellite communication sites. The system consists of PV modules, an MPPT solar controller, an LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery pack, a thermal management system, and a power distribution unit, forming a complete off-grid PV generation and energy storage system that provides stable power to satellite communication base stations. The system adopts a modular design and can be efficiently operated and maintained via local and remote monitoring. The Site Hybrid Power System is a next-generation multi-energy integrated power supply for 4G/5G base stations, communication equipment rooms, edge data centers, and outdoor compact sites. It breaks the traditional “single grid input, single DC output” architecture to achieve multi-source energy input + multi-voltage output + intelligent coordinated dispatch. At the site level, it accommodates grid power, PV, energy storage, diesel generators, and other sources, delivering a highly reliable, efficient, and simply deployable power framework for 5G equipment, transmission equipment, and IoT loads. Power range: 6 kW–36 kW; available in both 3U and 1U circuit breaker configurations.

The Stacked-PV MPPT Solar Controller is specially developed for PV capacity expansion at base station sites. Using a series-connection scheme, the system consists of PV modules, a stacked-PV MPPT controller, and a DC meter. Each PV string is series-connected to the controller, which steps down the module output voltage to −48V and injects it onto the rectifier output busbar to supply DC loads. Designed for communication base stations, it supports wall-mount and pole-mount installation. The product is available in outdoor and rack-mount versions.
